School Houses

We are excited to introduce you to the House System at Greenfields School, a tradition designed to foster belonging, competition, and personal growth within our school community. This system divides students into four distinct houses: Gulmohar, Laburnum, Magnolia, and Palm.
Plants are indispensable components of the environment, contributing to air quality, climate regulation, biodiversity, soil health, and human well-being. Plants often symbolize growth, strength, and resilience, qualities that we wish to instil in our students. Each plant represents different aspects of these qualities, allowing students to identify with the characteristics associated with their respective house. Plants are associated with natural beauty and diversity. By naming our Houses after different types of plants, we aim to celebrate the richness of nature and encourage students to appreciate and respect the environment.
Each house embodies unique characteristics and qualities, representing a diverse array of talents, strengths, and values.

We encourage all students to actively engage with their respective houses, seize opportunities for involvement and leadership, and uphold the values and traditions that define each house. Together, let us celebrate diversity, foster fellowship, and strive for excellence in all that we do.
