GREENFIELDS SCHOOL LAUNCHES ITS 1ST MUN CONFERENCE

Greenfields School celebrated a significant milestone by hosting its inaugural Model United Nations (MUN) conference, a dynamic two-day event that brought together delegates from our school to engage in thoughtful discussions about the Israel-Palestine conflict. This conference offered students a unique platform to assume the roles of diplomats, where they debated complex issues, negotiated resolutions, and developed their critical thinking and public speaking skills. In the lead-up to the event, participants dedicated themselves to extensive research on the historical context and current developments surrounding the conflict, enhancing their ability to contribute meaningfully to the discussions. Through training sessions, delegates were well-prepared to navigate the nuances of diplomacy, fostering a deeper understanding of international relations. The transformative nature of the MUN experience encouraged students to become informed global citizens, capable of articulating their views and collaborating on pressing international issues. As the school administration looks to the future, there is a strong commitment to making this MUN conference an annual tradition, nurturing a culture of academic excellence, leadership, and global awareness among students, and inspiring the next generation of leaders to engage with the world’s most critical challenges.
